Proposed action: Provide feedback on the Ministerial Conference in Leuven/Louvain-la-Neuve and the 1st Bologna Policy Forum as input for the preparations for the 2010 Ministerial Conference.

7.1 Budapest/Vienna Declaration

8. EQAR update and extension of mandate of EQAR Committee observers

Proposed action:
Take note of the information provided by EQAR.
Extend the mandate of the current observers to the EQAR Committee (Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Portugal) until 30 June 2010 to match the mandate of the EQAR Committee.
Agree to elect the five observers for the next period (1 July 2010-30 June 2012) at the BFUG meeting in Madrid.

9. Update on the independent assessment
