The Bologna Process is one of the fundamental reforms in the history of European higher education and has stimulated cooperation across Europe. Although the process was originally meant as an intra-European project, its influence might reach beyond European borders. Therefore the conference discussed the impact of the Bologna Process on academic structures and procedures in other regions of the world and how this process is perceived in other continents.
