European Higher Education in the World
The Lithuanian Presidency Conference on European Higher Education in the World is planned and will be executed in close cooperation with the European Commission.
The event is organized by Research and Higher Education Monitoring and Analysis Centre (MOSTA) .
The first day of the event is devoted entirely to keynote-speakers, each of whom is an expert and explores the importance of higher education and its internationalisation, along with parallel sessions presenting strategic approaches and drivers for internationalisation of higher education. During the second day of the conference the round table will involve a structured reflection from the representatives of the EU member states on the implementation of agenda for internationalisation of higher education, building a European model for more internationally competitive higher education.
The conference brings together representatives from international organizations, national authorities and higher education institutions (150 participants), and it focuses on how to promote European higher education in the world. Allso, speakers from the United States, Australia, international and world-class organisations will try to outline the current status, problems and constrains of the European higher education in a global market of education.
