Enhancement and Innovation in Higher Education Conference
To mark 10 years of the Enhancement Themes in Scotland, the Scottish higher education sector held an international conference 11-13 June 2013 on the banks of the historic River Clyde. The conference brought together over 500 delegates from 25 different countries to learn more about enhancing the student learning experience.
2013 marks 10 years of the Enhancement Themes and to celebrate this achievement the Scottish higher education sector hosted an international conference on Enhancement and Innovation in Higher Education. The conference brought together 550 delegates from 24 different counties to Glasgow, making it one of the largest learning and teaching conferences in the UK.
Over the three days delegates heard keynote speakers from both home and abroad who provided interesting questions for thought. There was also a series of workshop, paper and poster presentations. In addition to this, the conference provided the chance to share ideas and practices with colleagues and allowed ample opportunities for networking and making new contacts.
