The system of quality assurance of the Republic of Kazakhstan: New Challenges in the Bologna Process
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Bologna process and academic mobility center as well as the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) conduct an international conference of "Quality Assurance System of Higher Education of Kazakhstan: new challenges in the Bologna Process" for representatives of Kazakhstan, foreign universities and accreditation agencies on April 11, 2013 in Astana.
The purpose of the conference is to promote social and professional mechanisms of national education quality assessment system, the exchange of experience in innovative approaches to quality assurance in education, the formation of an independent assessment of education quality based on international experience, positioning Kazakh independent accreditation agencies in the international networks of quality.
The issues and prospects of international accreditation will be discussed on the conference by the example of Kazakhstan universities.
Kazakhstan and foreign universities, accreditation agencies, international organizations and networks for ensuring quality of education are invited to participate on the conference.
The conference will allow Kazakhstan as the government member EQAR and BFUG to solve questions such as:
formation local and international experts community;
- meet the needs of the labor market for qualified specialists;
- expanding international cooperation of universities;
- attract internationally recognized experts;
- increasing involvement of the student community in the processes of quality assurance.
