Steering Group on Data Collection 2007-2009
At his meeting in Lisbon in October 2007, the Bologna follow-Up Group decided the establishment of a data collection action line in the Bologna work programme 2007-2009.
A steering group was formed, which selected the indicators on which Eurostat and Eurostudent based their first findings on the situation in the field of social dimension and mobility in European higher education.
In the London Communiqué, Ministers entrusted Eurostat and Eurostudent
to develop comparable and reliable indicators and data to measure progress towards the overall objective for the social dimension and student and staff mobility in all Bologna countries.
A steering group was formed, to give the political orientations and the contextual information necessary for the work. In particular, the steering group selected the indicators on which Eurostat and Eurostudent based their first findings on the situation in the field of social dimension and mobility in European higher education.
